The Offer is a must-see series
My acting teacher recently gave me an assignment to watch The Piano. I found it on Paramount Plus. The film was even better than I remembered and very intense. It helped with the work we did the following week in class. I still had six days left on my trial subscription so I scrolled through their catalog. I decided to watch the first episode of The Offer. It was so riveting, I got through the entire series in five days. When I tried to stop the subscription before the deadline, a box popped up on my computer screen, telling me I could get an extra two months for free!
I originally thought Paramount Plus was kind of a joke but it turns out it has some great films and series. I loved rewatching The Godfather with all the great behind the scenes info I learned from The Offer.
I noticed they had Barbarella, a '60s sci-fi fantasy film starring Jane Fonda I've always wanted to watch. It was super silly and funny; I loved Jane Fonda's acting commitment to the film's ridiculous premise. I'm in the middle of 'Almost Famous' with Kate Hudson, directed by Cameron Crowe. I plan to watch the original Star Trek series and then the Spider Man movies. I will be busy for the next two months!
