Adamson House-worth a visit
I became friends with Mono and Marea Casas in the last century. I met Mono when I was around eight years old on a trip to Barranquilla, Colombia. I went to high school with Marea in New York so it was a major coincidence to run into them so many years later, married and living in Bogota. For a time we lived down the street from each other. I would pop in for one of Marea's delicious meals and a game of Scrabble. I left for Miami in 2003 and hadn't seen them in quite a while. They were in Los Angeles recently visiting family. It was wonderful to see them and catch up. We met at Adamson House, originally a beach house and now a historic landmark in Malibu. Even after three years of living here, I'm still discovering new and interesting places in Los Angeles County. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit.
